APPLICATION for a stall at Wallaby Creek Festival, Home Rule, Rossville 28-30 September, 2012 The Wallaby Creek Festival is a project of the Cape York Folk Club. Stall Applications close 17 July (no exceptions) All successful stall applications are decided by the WCF committee and our policy is non-negotiable. You will be notified of your successful or unsuccessful application. Payment of successful applicants to be made in full by 3 September by cheque or money order payable to Cape York Folk Club and sent to Jenny or Bobbin. All payments are non refundable. Home rule is off the power grid Stalls are encouraged to bring their own silenced generators if possible Unduly noisy generators will be shut down. 8. are you bringing your own power.................................. (the WCF ask that you bring low wattage lights 75-100 watt bulbs or leds only and will unplug any excessive lighting)if you attempt to plug in any other appliance you will be shut down 9. All Food and merchandise stalls need to use recyclable or biodegradeable packaging . (available at Enviromart Cairns.) Stalls unable to comply will be charged a $100 Trash Tax. 10. Food stall applications will need to enclose a copy of their food permit, available from Cook Shire Council, (please allow at least 2 weeks for processing.) 11. If you are camping with a number of people it is suggested you camp outside of allocated stall area in designated camping areas, this is for the safety and respect of other stall holders. 12. If you are planning to play any amplified music at your stall, please mention this on your application as it will affect your stall placement and the WCF committee holds the right to monitor the timing of such music. 13. STALLS POLICY AND GUIDELINES * Stallholders are encouraged to set up on Thursday * No fires at stall area * Stallholders need to provide their own stall structure and tables etc for shade and rain protection. It is often rainy and windy in September. Please make sure stall is secure and weatherproof. * WCF take no responsibility for any damage occurring to stalls. * No pets please. * No vehicle inside the festival stalls area to move after the start of festival at 8 am Friday morning. * Any bad behaviour of stall holders will be followed up and dealt with by the WCF committee. * Stall holders should cooperate with other stallholders. * No subletting your stall. You will be closed down. * No playing loud amplified music without prior approval of WCF committee. * Biodegradable and recyclable packaging is to be used whenever possible. * WCF have the right to remove any stallholder who has breached WCF policy and guideline laws.
