venue is Homerule Rainforest Lodge, which is in a World Heritage
listed area, set in a horseshoe of Wallaby Creek.
It is surrounded by mountains, rainforest, waterfalls and
boasts numerous swimming holes with NO Crocodiles.

This
event is held over 3 days during the September school holidays
and includes 2 music stages alternating between each other,
hosting many genres of music; a children’s festival;
numerous workshops; street theatre; poets breakfast and market
stalls.

Guided
bush walks, Black Mountain and Cedar Bay National Parks are
at our front door and the Great Barrier Reef is only a quick
hop, skip and a jump away.

annual festival was initiated in 2002 and has become a showcase
for Cook Shire; seeding, supporting and encouraging local
and regional emerging, professional musicians and artists
Queensland and Australia wide. |
To
make the festival affordable to locals and travelers, we rely
heavily on grants funding, sponsorship, donations and dedicated
volunteers to support the budget.
