Wallaby Creek Festival is a small, friendly event set in
Far North Queensland’s World Heritage Wet Tropics.

The 2011 MUSIC PROGRAM

was offered on 2 stages and included some of Australia’s well loved festival bands as well as showcasing artists from the surrounding towns and indigenous communities; also
breakfast with the poets; workshops; street theatre and walks to the spectacular Home Rule Falls and unique rainforest displays.

Free camping amongst the lush grounds at Home Rule Rainforest Lodge is available to all ticket holders.

VOLUNTEERS - We Need You!!
The Wallaby Creek Festival is put on by hard working volunteers from the Cape York Folk Club with the generous help of others. We are always looking for more volunteers to help in a variety of ways to make this event a success. If you are interested in helping out please refer to our volunteer section for more information on what you can do and the benefits of being a volunteer.

MARKET STALLS

Food and market stalls are presented at the festival to tempt your viewing, tasting and shopping pleasures.

 

Stallholders interested in participating in the festival should contact the festival organisers

 

WORKSHOPS and Children's Activities are plentiful and include craft, sculpture, face painting, movies, the Pied Piper Parade and much more!!

The festival provides an ideal September holiday destination for families.

Wallaby Creek Festival is created each year by a small team of dedicated volunteer workers who put an enormous effort and work tirelessly to make it all happen.
