Who We Are

Wallaby Creek Festival is a 3 day celebration of music and the arts, surrounded by the beautiful tropical rainforest of far north Queensland.

The festival has been held September of each year at Home Rule Rainforest Lodge in Rossville, just south of Cooktown, and is in its 15th year, 2016.

With 3 magical days of musicians, artists and workshops entwined with an amazing and diverse collection of market stalls and crafters, healing spaces, dedicated childrens festival and activities, crafts, street artists and entertainers, Wallaby Creek Festival is a wonderful family-focused event.

Full use of Home Rule Lodge, its surrounds and camping is available for all ticket holders and makes a truly fantastic retreat for the September holidays for family and friends.

Jennifer MidgleyI can! Large motorhomes are asked to camp closer to the festival gate where you buy tickets. Your friends can camp in their tents there too. It is not too far to walk.24 hours ago

Kellie JevonsIs that where u show ur tickets as u drive thru? It's a long walk if it is!!18 hours ago

Roz LeahyKellie Jevons Remember as we walked down to festival grounds there was gateway around where the big generators were.. from memiry there was a welcome to wallaby creek festival banner there. Do you mean around there Jennifer Midgley. We were camped close to a shed where the rubbish was sorted for recycling last year which was between the ticket gate and the welcome gateway i mentioned above.1   ·  18 hours ago

Ashley Holliday7m is not too large for access to most areas. the area between the main gate and the festival area gate is probably the easiest.3   ·  17 hours ago

Beccy BeccyboopWe have a Camper Trailer with 12ft tent. Some friends are coming with us in a Toyota Coaster... I'm hoping WE can camp together too... In the family section I'm hoping...14 hours ago

Sandra Lloydplease understand that people in the family tents do not want to be hemmed in by large vans - the area for larger vehicles is actually one of the best and isnt far to walk. when you come in go and have a look - most dont realise just how good it is.1   ·  8 hours ago

Beccy BeccyboopI don't care about walking... I just want to be in a quieter area because I'm old abd cranky... :-P2   ·  8 hours ago
