| Barons
of Tang

Gypsy
Leaving a trail of battered dance floors
across the globe, The Barons of Tang have toured relentlessly
over the past three years, stepping onto stages across Australia,
New Zealand and USA including WOMAD NZ, Byron Bay Blues and Roots
Festival, Woodford Folk Festival, The Falls and Florida's Tropical
Heatwave Festival and sharing the stage with international artists
such as Paprika Balkanicus, Fanfare Ciocarlia and gypsy punk heroes
Gogol Bordello.
Lashing Tango, Latin and Gypsy with hard hitting guitar riffs,
double kick blast beats and massive horn arrangements, The Barons
of Tang serve up their molotov ‘gypsy deathcore’.
The catchy tunes and punk ethos all tie together to mean one thing,
dancing is inevitable! The Barons of Tang return from their 3 month
62 date USA Tour to serve up their stellar EP “Knots and
Tangles” and incite dance floor riots at the 2011 Wallaby
Creek Festival

Rob
Longstaff
Acoustic
soul/funk/pop
On the back of a new album "Boogaloo",
Rob Longstaff has again travelled overland from Europe in a bid
to distance himself from the heavily militarised company's, Boeing
and Airbus and to keep his emissions well and truly personal.
Since his last appearance at Wallaby Creek, Rob has toured the
world by Bicycle, Train and Boat. Delivering smile inducing, ear
friendly acoustic soul/funk/pop and occasional blah blah, Wallaby
creek is Robs only Australian festival gig in 2011.

| Ziko
Hart
World
or ambient or transcendental
Ziko Hart is both an inspired and inspiring Australian
independent musician whose music defies simple genre classification.
Call it World or ambient or transcendental if you must but his
music is borne of the heart and of nature.
Ziko uses a mix of instruments from ancient traditional African
string, wind and percussion to American Indian flutes to high
tech’ string and percussion to create a unique aural cornicopia.
A highlight of Ziko’s performances is his dynamic use of
the mesmerising Swiss Hangs. The sounds range from tribal beats
to near hypnotic dreamy rhythms. When Ziko plays live or busks
people just stop, silently transfixed and are inevitably taken
by the truly unique sounds that are his hallmark.
