Workshops
There are a large number of workshops on offer at the festival catering to a wide range of interests.
A variety of workshops for a variety of interests and abilities are offered throughout the festival including;
women’s circle and dance & twirling … both with Shells
Twirling Workshop
Incorporating dance and twirling, with a strong focus on expression and having fun. Work through different techniques using poi, and learn new tricks! Workshop suits ages 10 years and over. Please bring your own poi or rent for a small fee of $5.00. This is deducted from the price if you purchase the set at the end.
Women’s Circle
A creative intimate experience for women to come together through song, ritual, visualization and conversation. We explore ourselves, nurture each other and give thanks to the earth and the universe we live in.
belly dancing … with local dancers ‘tipsy gypsys’
Just come as you are and enjoy a shimmy with these lovely, local girls.
Okka Wikka are natural fibre masters
Stuart & Catherine Campbell-Lloyd. Using banana trunk fibre
& coconut leaf Okka Wikka offer an interactive workshop for children
& adults.
