Guidelines for workers/volunteers

(A)  Work for ticket - prior to the festival (set up)

1.  approx. 20 workers will be required
2.   predominantly working with construction and visuals coordinators
3.  12 hours of satisfactory working alongside festival coordinators =  festival pass
4.  Meals
*  during set up workers will be provided with meals (lunch and dinner) as well as tea / coffee & snacks whilst they are volunteering
*  no food is provided during the festival
*  BYO breakfast & snacks
5.  all workers are to be wrist banded by Thursday afternoon
7.  preference will be given to applications that are able to start on Mon - Tues prior to festival
8.  free camping available to workers prior to the festival 
9.  workers are required to complete a 'Volunteer/Work for Ticket WCF 2012' form upon arrival, which includes CYFC insurance and  membership if they are not current financial members
10.  invitation to the post festival 'volunteers party' - wrist band required for entry and for in-house information

(B)  Volunteering & Work for Ticket during the festival

1.  Volunteers  to state how much they are able to work.   Work for ticket participants pay for their ticket beforehand and work for 12 hours to get it reimbursed.  Supervisor's keep tally of hours.
2. Typically festival volunteers and Work for Tickets are rostered to complete shifts (eg. bar, gate, kitchen, information lounge, stage, recycling station) prior to the festival 
3. Work for Tickets spread over the 3 day festival alongside festival coordinators.
4. Volunteers/ Work for Tickets may be required to 'float', ie. move from one coordinator to another depending on areas of need
5. Volunteers and Work for Tickets are required to complete a 'Volunteer/Work for Ticket Membership Form WCF 2012'  on-line or upon arrival, which includes CYFC membership and insurance if they do not have current membership
6.  No meals provided to volunteers/workers during the festival
7.  Invitation to the post festival 'volunteers party' - wrist band required for entry and for in-house information

(C) Volunteering after the festival
Please stay a couple of days longer and help us clean up the site :)  Your camping is free for up to 1 week. Breakfast, lunch & dinner is provided on Mon, Tues & Wed.
